Want to know more about Gender Budgeting and how feminist economics can improve equality for all? Come to this event where we’ll be talking about the work of the Scottish Women’s Budget Group.
This event will look at how gender budgeting works in practice and what it can achieve, how the Scottish Women’s Budget Group should work to promote women’s equality in Scotland, and how you can get more involved.
Lunch will be provided (please specify dietary requirements on the booking form). If there is anything we can do to ensure you are able to participate fully in the day, please let us know on the booking form.
Morning - what is Gender Budgeting?
- including presentations from Emma Ritch and Dr Angela O'Hagan, and a participatory workshop to create a feminist budget plan for Scotland. Chaired by Anna Ritchie-Allan.
Afternoon - making it happen
- Action planning for the Scottish Women's Budget Group - your chance to have your say over how women's budgeting could and should happen in Scotland.
